went and saw The last Airbender today -- Wow there was a lot of Cutting (editing) in the film, it felt like the plot was cut down to fit a 1hr 43min movie, I want to know why its that short anyway because when I first heard they were making this movie I thought it would be close to the length of LOTR. the only other thing I had a problem with was the Fire bending. (nerd alert) It was done wrong, only once in the whole movie did a fire bender create fire from his hands all the other benders just moved the fire from the torches...think about it if all the other nations had to do was put out the source fire and they won...Sigh...Now if this was a new story and world or was coming from a book I would be more forgiving but this is based off a cartoon which has visuals, your going to have to match those visuals. And the Visuals have all the fire benders creating fire from them selfs (hands, feet, and even mouth). So why could they not do that?
I don't recommend seeing this Movie in theater...its a rent
how could M. Night fail us this way?
